KidzPartners’ was originally set up as a shadowing ministry for all of our Children’s area’s. As we have learned over a period of time there are children who just need a special touch. This can stem from many different reason’s, physical challenges, mental challenges or some other type of challenge that will keep them from participating in a typical environment.
Our goal is to partner each child with a kidzpartner volunteer who would be with them through-out the day while parents/guardians attend service. Their primary function would be to build a relationship with the children and their families. Getting to know the family will allow for a better transition into our environments.
It has been a passion of mine to open up our ministry area’s to families with children who have difficulty in a traditional setting. It is so important for parents/guardians of our children to be able to attend a church service and worship our Lord Jesus Christ while their children are in a loving and safe environment.
Although we have not officially put “KidzPartner’s” into practice, we feel the need is there. At this time we are taking each individual case one at a time; looking at the needs of the child and working with the parent to make accommodations.
If you have a child that you feel may need some special attention while you attend service, please contact one of the representatives so we can go over the details before you arrive in Journey land. This will make your experience and your child’s a little more enjoyable. It is our goal to make everyone feel right at home.

We will also add articles that may be helpful in understanding children who need a special touch. For those who specialize in this area and have information that would be helpful for training purposes or parenting tips, I would appreciate your input. We will add this information as an additional page in this area.
I hope you will give us the opportunity to spend some time with your child in a safe and loving environment.
