Volunteer Luau We want to say thank you to all of our volunteers! Sunday, June 7th will be the annual Volunteer Appreciation Night. This year, we will have food, fun and a movie at the water park at The Family Y on Wheeler Road in Augusta beginning at 6:00 PM. Information and sign up cards are available at the Volunteer Central table on Sunday or at the church office.
Graduation Recognition This Sunday, June 7th, we encourage all grads to attend the 11:30 service where we will recognize every TNC high school graduate with a gift. We will also have a time of prayer to commission each of our students as they take their next step on their journey as a Christ follower. This will only be done in the 11:30 service. There is no sign up necessary, just be in attendance. We look forward to honoring you on your accomplishments this Sunday.
Cross Training Sports Camp The TNC CROSS TRAINING SPORTS CAMPS for BOYS & GIRLS ages 6-12 is coming June 8-12! Each morning from 8:30 -11:45 am, at Riverview Activities Center in North Augusta, your child will receive ”Quality Sports Instruction with a Christian Purpose” in either basketball or soccer. Brochures and registration forms will be available Sunday at Guest Services. Cost is $50.00. This ministry is for the entire community, so be sure and invite your friends. If you would desire to sponsor a child with a scholarship, please contact our offices at 803-279-1555.
2nd Saturday Join us on Saturday, June 13th to impact the CSRA. We meet in North Augusta at the church offices, 419 W. Martintown Road at 8:30 am and transportation to the volunteer locations is provided. June locations are North Augusta Habitat for Humanity, Christ Community Health Services (Widows Home) and Ridgeview Manor where we will be working with the “Ridge Kids” as part of our Adopt-A-Block program. Kids are welcome and no tools or skills are required. We will have you back by noon. For more information, email Mike Fiedler at mikef@truenorthchurch.com.
Blood Drive As part of Junes 2nd Saturday and in conjunction with the North Augusta Family Y we will also be hosting the Shepherd Community Blood Mobile from 8:00am – 12:30pm. Give Some Drops, Get Some Dippin’ Dots. All donors will receive a coupon for a FREE medium cup of Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream
