Time seems to fly by. This Sunday a group from TrueNorth Church will head to Decatur Illinois to start preparing for the Launch of our new campus. WOW! It is very exciting. In preparation for the trip we will leave at 6am Sunday morning and stop at several “Theater” churches on the way to Atlanta for our departure.
October 26h is our Facedown service at the Riverwalk Amphitheater. It starts at 5:30 pm. It’s going to be a great night. Invite your friends and family to come, it’s perfect for our fish. Childcare will be provided for ages 6 weeks thur Kindergarten (only) at ”Best Friends” daycare. Pre-registration is required. Don’t miss out-Invite those who wouldn’t usually come to church to our “Confessions of a Christian Church” series. North Augusta kicked off last week and Columbia County will kick off this week. The word is out, people are talking. It’s perfect. You can see some of the articles in the Augusta Chronicle, North Augusta Today and Community Belief net.
Tommy Wafford is official as Student Pastor at TrueNorth Church. This was Tommy’s first full week in the office. You can check out my personal blog to see whats going on at Element. Don’t forget, if you have a child 6th grade thru 12th grade they should be hang in with Element. Element meets Sunday evenings for Middle school and Wednesday evenings for High school (6:30). Our evacuation drill at the North Augusta campus was off the charts. A big THANK YOU goes out to all those who put so much time into organizing this drill. We will have surprise drills every three months or so. This will keep us on our toes just in case a real emergency ever takes place. Thank you again.
