In a previous post, “More than a Preschool Ministry,” I spoke of TrueNorth being more than just a Sunday service or Journey land a preschool ministry. We are about building relationships, we are a family.
I shared a story about the Walton family, Steve and Tina. Steve had gone for a Pet Scan and our Journey land family gathered around them to pray. Over the past few weeks we have waited anxiously for the result. Today I got the call from Tina, the test came back “NEGATIVE” for cancer. I can’t tell you how joyful I was.
As I took some time to think about this “Miracle” and praise God, I started looking through scripture finding what God has to teach us about prayer. I was quickly drawn to “Psalms.” What beautiful words are spoken throughout this Book of the Bible. We are reminded that God not only hears our prayers but answers them.
Psalm 66:19
but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.
Psalm 66:20
Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
Take time to pray…remember to Praise Him.”
